Honor Code
The MAcc program is intended to prepare students for professional careers in accounting. Students should consider this a year to practice the skills required for success in a business environment - a dry run for their first year of employment. As such, students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. Important traits include punctuality, respect for the opinions and backgrounds of others, striving for excellence in all activities, and ethical conduct. To emphasize these expectations, the faculty has adopted an honor code for the MAcc program. An honor pledge is required for all assignments completed in the program.
"On my honor, I have neither given nor received any unauthorized aid on this [paper, test, assignment], nor have I observed or heard of anyone else doing so." |
