Average starting salary is largely a function of your previous work experience and geography. MBA graduates who enter the MBA program with 3 or more years of work experience can expect a higher starting salary than graduates with less work experience. MBA graduates who accept positions in large metropolitan areas such as San Francisco or Chicago can also expect higher salaries.
