Financial Aid

Master's

All applicants accepted to full-time programs are automatically considered for financial assistance.  All programs offer a limited number of graduate assistantships which will waive tuition and provide a stipend of $2,500 each semester.  In exchange, students will work 15 hours per week.  Some programs offer additional assistance:

  • Master of Accountancy offers other scholarships.
  • MBA offers a second level of assistantship which waives out-of-state tuition, provides the same stipend of $2,500 each semester, plus an additional scholarship for $2,500.

When the program makes the admission offer, the financial award is made at that time. Your official offer letter will include admissions decision and financial offer.

Domestic students are also eligible for student loans. In order to apply, you must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid.

Ph.D.

Most students admitted to a Walton College Ph.D. program receive funding. This funding comes in three forms: tuition waiver, graduate assistantship (GA), and stipend. Students work half-time (20 hours a week) teaching and/or conducting research. This financial assistance is renewable for four years. Students are expected to enroll in 12 hours each semester and maintain a 3.25 GPA.
