
Career Tracks
Four distinct career tracks allow Walton MBA students to customize their academic experience: Retail Marketing Management, Supply Chain Management, Financial Management, and Entrepreneurship/Innovation. The career tracks correspond to specific career paths at leading companies within the retail and consumer packaged goods industries. Each career track is composed of three required courses and one elective chosen to compliment the student’s career choice.

Study Abroad
International business is a daily reality for companies of all sizes. Our study abroad programs are designed specifically for MBA students and allow you to experience international business firsthand. Trips to Brazil, China, India and other international business hubs include visits to corporate headquarters of global corporations, tours of international distribution centers and interviews with corporate executives as well as an introduction to the diverse cultures of the country.

Project Teams and Competitions
As part of the Walton MBA Program, you will potentially participate in a variety of independent projects and team competitions. Walton MBA students have enjoyed much success in the Donald W. Reynolds Governor's Cup business plan competition, as well as the Sam M. Walton College of Business International Graduate Logistics Case Competition and the R.I.S.E (Redefining Investment Strategy Education) international student managed investment fund competition.

Graduate Assistantships and Internships
The Walton MBA is industry specific, market driven, and leverages the unique strengths of the Walton College and our corporate partners. Students begin the three semester, 16 month program in January and complete 48 hours of coursework.

Professional Development
Professional Development is key to any individual’s growth. Even once you are in the workforce it is highly likely that you will be participating in professional development courses to keep you knowledgeable about new trends. As a result, we have incorporated this into our program. Requiring students to complete 48 hours of professional development and attend 10 speakers throughout the program.
