Full-Time Program
The full-time MBA program at the Sam M. Walton College of
Business is undergoing an innovative redesign. This change has
been driven by our alumni and their employers. We want to
prepare our graduates for competitive careers by equipping them
with the skills and knowledge needed to be successful.
MBA View Book
Northwest Arkansas is the epicenter for retailing
innovations. Currently, there are over 300 Fortune 500 companies
that have a presence in Northwest Arkansas. Many of them work to
service their accounts with the one of the world's largest
companies, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., headquartered in Bentonville,
Ark. The presences of these leading companies give Walton
College MBA students a unique opportunity to learn retail and
consumer products marketing first hand.
This program will be launched in January 2007. The new
program will consist of four semesters to be completed in 18
months. More information on the New MBA program will be
announced soon. Please contact our office if you have any
questions.

Managerial MBA Program
The managerial program is a 24-month (minimum), 38 credit-hour,
lock-step program, with initial matriculation in the fall
semester. Working professionals will find this program challenging
but also one that affords them a balanced life of career, family,
and education. Classes meet one weekend per month in Fayetteville,
with internet facilitated learning activities between on-campus
sessions.
Your MMBA Classmates
(In good company. . . )
Beyond
the curriculum, technology, and expertise of the faculty, your
fellow students are an important factor in choosing an MBA
program. The average Managerial MBA student has 5-7 years of work
experience in a variety of fields. A wide array of companies
including Wal-Mart, Tyson Foods, Unilever, Clorox, Gerber, JB
Hunt, and Gillette send their employees to the Managerial MBA
program. Their varied experience leads to a dynamic and
stimulating classroom environment where students challenge each
other to excel and where informal networking creates opportunities
for growth and change.
