The Walton MBA: A Career Designed For You

Developing Your Career - A Customized Approach

Walton MBA students work closely with the Walton College Career Development Center to develop skills and insight in career development, professional development, and the employment process. Access to these critical services begins your first semester on campus.

Early in the program, Career Center staff work with you to develop a professional resume that you use for graduate assistantship and summer internship interviews. You also participate in behavioral and conversational interview training sessions to help get you ready for interviewing.

Later in the program, we help you refine your executive presence, learn tips for more effective networking and coach you through the development of a job search plan. When you begin interviewing for the ideal job, we help you understand how to negotiate for the best salary and benefits available.
